Mid-Autumn Festival

This year..
My neighbours organized a Mid-Autumn Festival Party..
So..
A few friends are cordially invited by yours truly to come and enjoy together..
And the LUCKY few are..
Mable,
Cheryl,
Ella,
Melody,
Chloe,
Vic,
Kenneth,
and a last minute addition..Roy (dude I hope I got your name right :p)

I was in charge of the decorations of the tent..
That was because my mother wanted the party to have some atmosphere..XD
If I could have it my way..I would just leave as it is..
Why you said? Because to me..its the food and company that counts right?
And also not forgetting the bright moon..
Which should be viewed in a slightly dark and open place...
NOT in a bright place (i.e basketball/badminton court)..
Unless you did not know/give a damn about what season or festival to have a party in conjunction with..

The decor works started at 3 something...
Bloody hot time to work if you ask me..
Helped Michael (my neighbour/organizer) to hang up some lanterns..
Some as in the amount that requires so much time that you are standing and being roasted at the same time..

Later Mable came..we started the finishing touches on the decor..the balloons..
While half way through it..
The rest of the gang arrived..excluding Kenneth..
A little while longer..Kenneth arrived..
Tied about 35 balloons to the tent..
Now the tent really has party atmosphere with the lanterns and balloons..

We lighted a few candles and lantern and started to have our dinner..
We were joking all thorugh dinner..
About what I should not say to save the dignity of Kenneth (those present should know what I'm talking about) XDXDXD
Unlike certain people who have no qualms about posting unflattering pictures of people doing unflattering things (i.e. gambling) on their pages..

After the dinner..comes the fun part..
KARAOKE..yep..thats the way it spelled..
NOT KARAOKAE..which sounds retarded..
Haha..this part I really liked..
Because to me..that is a fun thing because not everybody is so good at it..
So we can all laugh at each other..and laugh we did..and laughed like banshees..
Especially *** when she's singing Hokkien..(another censor to protect the dignity of my friends)
This is sure better then listening to plain old party/disco/pub music..
Which actually is pretty good if done by the right person..like an acquaintance of mine HBK..
Not some amateur/wannabe whos trying out the gadgets and took some pic just so he could look cool..

After some really hillarious karaoke moments..
We continued with wishing lanterns 'kong min ten' pardon my pinyin if its wrong..
Please be considerate as I'm Chinese illiterate..
Not like someone whos using English and talking in slangs acting like someone from America..
When that person actually knows shit about the language..
Back to topic..the lanterns were bought by Ella..
This lantern is somewhat like a hot air balloon..albeit a mine one..
The belief is that you write your wishes on the lantern..
Light up a piece of wax on the bottom of it..
The lantern/balloon will carry your wishes up with it to the Gods in the sky...
Which will in turn read your wishes..and grant it..
Too bad Mable had to go home earlier and did not have the chance to see her wishes fly up to the sky..but we took pictures of it and mms-ed it to her..
I wrote my wishes in English and everyone else in Chinese..
They joked that the Gods will not understnad what I wrote =.=
Hey..come on..they are Gods right surely they know anything..because they must be God-like (no pun intended) right?
I hope..(fingers crossed)

After that Chloe went home..
We had tea and mooncakes and chatted..
We talked about life..school..and future...
After that we went in and talked somemore and went to my pc to surf..
Kenneth went home first..
Followed by the rest of the gang..

This sums up the day/night/morning..
Becaouse it started at 5 p.m and they wnet home at about er,m.. 1.30 a.m?
The longest period of time I had friends stay at my home..
They even bought mooncakes for my mum..which surprised my mum..
Because she never received any gifts from my friends before..
I had fun..lots of it..I think this is the best day of this holiday..
I really had to thank my friends who came..
And also to those who choose to come here even after being "invited" to another place..
That proves thy loyalty..and thy loyalty will be highly held and honoured..

Although this party cost big bucks (over RM100 per family)
But it is worth it..since we won;t have to works our ass off to start a fire (not that we don't know how) and get smoked while preparing food..
But that is just for the tent, food, tables, chaors and cutlery...
As for the company of my friends and the time we had?
Priceless.. not worth a few bucks of barbequed shit...
Which the organizer had the cheeck to organize something that he don't have the things he needs and must be borrowed..

I think they should organize events like this more..
Should not shpuld(which also sounds retarded)..
And my friends should also come over more..
Because when they are here..I don't feel lonely..
Thank You guys..
Thanks for coming..
I really had fun..
Thanks again..
Never felt so happy in my life..

If I were to play a song during the course of the party..
That song would have to be B.E.P's 'I Gotta Feeling"
Because I really had a good good night/day/morning..whatever..
You get my point..
Thanks again to you guys..
Friends that made me realize how happy I can be..
